MONDAY, JUNE 29TH - THURSDAY, JULY 2ND

We’d like to request your help spreading the word to your students about our "Exploratory Band Camp" this summer — a fun, confidence building 4 days where young musicians can explore new instruments, sharpen their current skills, and get excited for the upcoming school year. Your recommendation carries real weight, and even a quick mention in class or an email home can open the door for a student who’s ready to grow.

CAMP SCHEDULE

Day 1: Woodwind Testing
12-1:30 - Test Flute, Clarinet
1:30-3 - transition to a time of learning theory (note lengths + some rhythm) 

Day 2: Brass Testing
12-1:30 - Test Trumpet, Trombone, Saxophone
1:30-3 - transition to a time of learning theory (pitches) 

Day 3: Percussion Testing
12-1:30 Test Snare and Bells 
1:30-3 combine theory from previous days to learn songs 

Day 4: Instrument Maintenance 
12-1:30 Jon-o Yowell will come in and talk to the kids about how to maintain their instruments.
