MEET BRUCE LANGGUTH!

Clarinetist Bruce Langguth has been an instructor of clarinet for over 40 years.  His former students have gone on to teach in schools, perform, or simply play in community ensembles for enjoyment. 

In addition to teaching clarinet, Bruce is very active in performing with numerous bands, orchestra, and small group ensembles in the Northern Ohio area.  Currently, he is a member of the Akron Symphonic Winds, a professional band which performs many summer concerts as well as a holiday series.  He is also an original member of the Snowbelt Symphony, a professional orchestra based in Lake County.  Other professional groups with which he has performed include the W.D. Packard Band, American Musical Productions, the Cleveland Federation of Musicians Concert Band, the Sounds of Sousa band, and the Blossom Festival Band. 

When not playing professionally, Bruce can be seen as a clarinetist in many community groups.  He has played for years with the Lakeland Civic Band, Lakeland Civic Orchestra, The Suburban Symphony Orchestra, the Cinematic Symphony Orchestra, and the Fine Arts Community Wind Ensemble.
